For a long-lasting bond, one must exchange their name, so here is mine — Ghazal Azad JahanGhazal, an ode often expressing longing, is a homage to the people I come from. Two distant halves of my being tied by a shared devotion for poetry. Azad, in language I was raised in, translates to ‘liberated’ which shall, until each of us is, be an earnest reminder that navigates me. Jahan, a gentle world, if after this.When demons— fleeting life and fragments of ideas—are not gnawing my heart, I love discussing books & films with friends, by-hearting nazms, singing Fairuz’s songs and learning new aspects of languages and history.AI disgusts me.
